1. AutoSize: Boxes are automatically sized so that the entire chart is uniform. No manual adjustment or guesswork necessary to get all boxes the same size. (But you can still manually adjust any box size or position).
2. Flexible Format: Box formats now allow photos on left or right for more compact and efficient arrangement.
3. Extended Arrangements: New ‘Hide’ box option allows almost an infinite number of chart formatting options.
4. Quick Data View enables you to see all data in any box – without clicking
5. Auto Update: New command line parameters allows you to schedule OrgChart to run and update PowerPoint, Database, or Flash outputs without any user intervention
6. Usability Improvements: A number of improvements have been made to improve ease-of-use, such as MS-Word tool bars.
7. New Calculations and Drop-Down Data fields. Conditional calculations allow customization of headcount and salary computations. New drop-down fields allow you to create your own lists for fields with common values, such as employee status, skills, or on/off-boarding.
8. Optimization of chart algorithms enables much faster drawing and processing of larger charts.
9. Web Search: Flash Publishing now includes a Search function so you can create an OrgChart web site and easily find anyone you’re looking for.
10. Distributed Chart Architecture allows you to break larger charts into smaller ones, or combine any number of charts into a master chart.
11. Data Import of System Fields now gives you even more control of chart appearance and structure when importing from Excel or any database.
12. MS-Project Import enables you to create work breakdown structure reports from any MSP-2003 project file. Now you can use OrgChart as a WBS visualization tool.
